Hoodoos

In celebration of warm weather, we hopped on over to the hoodoos in Drumheller. It was slippery and muddy, but it was well worth the adventure. I slipped and fell and watched my phone fly into the mud while Patrick mustered up the courage to scale the sides of the sand dunes. As the kids say, he’s cray cray. But #YOLO, AMIRITE?
These pictures do not capture just how much fun we had! Mostly because there aren’t any pictures of us caked in mud. No wonder kids love playing in the mud. There’s something thrilling about accidently slipping and falling and realizing it is funnier than it is worrying. So, in the words of Miss Frizzle, take chances (scale muddy edges for a good view), make mistakes (wear inappropriate footwear), get messy (fall into the mud).

As always,
