Halloween 2016

Our first Halloween in Alberta looked like this…

We ordered pizza and wings from Pizza Hut across the street. We baked Halloween  cupcakes. We stuffed our faces while watching Hocus Pocus. In other words, it was an awesome Halloween. So chill-ing.

We didn’t give out candy because we knew we wouldn’t get any kids. The entrance to our home backs out into an alley. Not very inviting.  However, we watched the downtown streets come alive with kids going from store to store collecting candy. We joined in the festivities by getting into our shark and panda onesies and going across the street to order pizza – rather than calling. It was so great bumping into students and seeing them have a great time. We loved it. The Halloween atmosphere was on point.

Until next time!
