Bits + Pieces

Our mothers told us not to walk on thin ice.

But, today we decided to roll the dice.

As we walked along, we ignored all the signs.

We knew we were wrong to be crossing the lines.

We felt the regret as the ice slowly cracked…

Because dry socks and dry boots is what we sure lacked.

(An original poem by Jennie and kind of Patrick)
